Amrop Adds 10 New Partners Around the World

May 8, 2015 – Amrop has added 10 new partners in Asia, EMEA and the U.S.

Marcella Accorinti joins Amrop as a partner in Italy where she will work between Milan and Rome, focusing on the financial services sector. Ms. Accorinti began her search career in 2000 when she joined KPMG Executive Search as a principal, developing business in the firm's banking/finance and real estate sectors. In 2012 she became a partner for the financial practice at Odgers Berndston.

Quincy Chen has been named as an associate partner in China. Mr. Chen brings with him two decades of management and diversity experience in China, the U.K., Germany, Singapore and Hong Kong, in the areas of product development, technical marketing, market research, business and M&A negotiation, and general management. For 20 years he worked for Siemens, EPCOS and TDK.

Rosa Garcia-Tizón becomes a partner in Spain and will focus on working with clients in life sciences & healthcare and professional services. Ms. Garcia-Tizón has held executive positions at multinational companies including Abbott Laboratories and Hospira, within sales, marketing, operations and legal functions. She was marketing manager at the Hospital Division of Abbott, a member of the management committee at Hospira Iberia, and business operations & legal director for Spain and Portugal.

Steve Park has been appointed as a partner in South Korea. Mr. Park has a diverse background, having worked in IT, entertainment, management consulting, education and consumer goods. Leveraging this broad experience, his core competences include strategic planning (strategy and new business development, M&A), sales and marketing (brand strategy, marketing planning and implementation, sales force management) and general management as CEO of an education company.

Genaro Peña joins Amrop as a partner in the U.S. Mr. Peña has over 30 years of experience in global business development, international trade and logistics, and strategic sales and marketing. He was previously VP international investment & trade with the Greater Houston Partnership (GHP). His consulting work encompasses his broad background: aviation/aerospace, energy & petrochemicals, healthcare & life sciences, and commercial development.

Geoffroy Petit also joins the firm in the U.S. after a focused international career in the energy sector. Until 2013, he was VP refining and base chemicals at Total in the U.S. Formerly CEO of Total Petrochemicals in the U.S., he has occupied various senior-level executive roles within the Total Group in the U.S, Germany and Belgium. Mr. Petit has broad experience across the energy sector, including general management, strategy, management of start-ups, large-scale expansions and commodity supply and sales.

Andrea Petruskova has been added as a client partner in the Czech Republic where she works with clients across a range of sectors, including IT and telecommunications, logistics, industrial, life sciences, retail and luxury brands. Ms. Petruskova is an executive search expert, with more than 10 years’ experience in the sector. She has experience working for big international companies including Pedersen & Partners and SpenglerFox, where she completed hundreds of executive search projects.

Somya Satsangi leads the technology and media practice at Amrop India. She has 24 years’ experience in business consulting and IT with global corporations across Europe, India and the U.S. in varied senior management roles encompassing business development, strategy and operations. Previously, she was VP corporate development and strategy with CA Technologies, managing their key investments and global strategic partnerships.

David Schain has been named a partner in Sweden and works exclusively in the field of leadership assessment, both in search processes and in larger strategy-driven projects, and with executive development in the form of executive coaching and management team development. Before joining Amrop, Mr. Schain spent eight years as a country manager and global partner for Cubiks.

Anke Schulz joins Amrop as a partner in Germany. Her core competencies are mechanical and plant engineering, manufacturing and chemicals, but also include working with energy sector and public sector clients, as well as succession planning. Ms. Schulz has over has 20 years of practical experience in the global executive search industry.
