Amrop Announces Global Expansion

November 13, 2010 – Global executive search firm Amrop has added Swarup Choudhury to its India operations in Mumbai, Job Voorhoeve as a partner in Amsterdam, Maura Nobili as a partner in Milan and Nadia Furfaro in Rome. Mr. Choudhury joins Amrop India from his previous role as vice president, growth markets for IBM, leading the seven emerging regions of Greater China, ASEAN, ANZ, Korea, CEEMEA, Latin America & India South Asia. Mr. Voorhoeve started his career in the professional services and IT industry where he placed top talent for blue chip companies. He later joined Deloitte, where he held several key talent executive positions, including recruitment director EMEA and global director of mobility as well as being a member of the global talent executive management team. Mr. Voorhoeve becomes a member of Amrop’s professional services and technology & media practices. Ms. Nobili joins Amrop D&G in Milan with more than 20 years experience in executive search. Most recently, she was senior client partner and member of Korn/Ferry International’s European consumer & retail practice, managing executive search assignments mainly in the food, luxury goods, fashion and retail markets. Ms. Furfaro joins Amrop D&G in Rome from her previous role as group human resources director at GruppoCoin, a large Italian retail company. Nadia has held senior HR positions at Alitalia, Danone Group and Playtex Europe.
