AMN Healthcare Leadership Recruits CHRO for Tanner Medical Center

July 26, 2023 – CHROs have become critical stakeholders in defining the strategy of a company. Executive recruitment firm AMN Healthcare Leadership recently placed Jill Anelli as senior vice president and CHRO for Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, GA. Amy Simonson, an experienced senior executive recruiter with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital and healthcare industry, led the search.

Ms. Anelli most recently served as regional HR director for the midlands division of MUSC Health in Columbia, SC. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation and has a passion for executive healthcare coaching. Previously, Ms. Anelli served as director of HR for Collier County Public Schools. Prior to that, she spend over seven years with Physicians Regional Healthcare System as the director of human resources, responsible for implementing and maintaining systems that support the employee base.

In her new position, Ms. Anelli is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating human resource programs across Tanner Health System. She serves as a liaison and catalyst for change with departmental leadership, operational managers, and staff employees in human resource functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, communication and employment law, and compliance. Ms. Anelli also serves as a key contributing member of the system HR leadership team and Tanner’s senior leadership team, including engagement, strategic goals, initiatives, and work plan.

Tanner Health System is a five-hospital non-profit health system providing convenient, personalized healthcare to communities across west Georgia and east Alabama. Tanner’s medical staff is comprised of more than  400 physicians and advanced practice providers, representing 34 medical specialties.
