AESC Elects European Council for 2010

January 20, 2010 – The Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC) has elected its European Council for 2010. The Council consists of 27 executive recruiters including five European officers who also serve as leaders on the AESC’s global board, along with representatives from the Americas and Asia Pacific Councils. The 2010 AESC European board directors are: chairman, Serge Lamielle of Neumann International; vice chairman, Carol Palmer of The Curzon Partnership; treasurer, Aidan Kennedy of CTPartners; at-large board member, Simon Russell of Spencer Stuart; and at-large board member, Mario Ceretti of TRANSEARCH International. The AESC established a European Council in 1996 and opened a branch office in Brussels in 2004 to support its growing activities in Europe. “We are delighted to have a new leadership team in place … to continue to develop the AESC in Europe. Our main challenge is to grow membership amongst top quality retained executive search firms and to strengthen communications with hiring organizations in order to better promote and explain the use – and best practices – of retained executive search,” said Christophe de Callatay, AESC director for Europe.
