Acertitude Recruits Chief Revenue Officer for TAK Broadband
September 15, 2025 – Acertitude has recruited Dan Miller as the new chief revenue officer of TAK Broadband, a Platinum Equity portfolio company. “This placement marks another chapter in Acertitude’s nearly decade-long partnership with Platinum Equity, which has yielded more than 200 executive placements across both the firm and its portfolio companies,” Acertitude said in a LinkedIn post. The search was led by co-founder and managing partner, Kevin O’Neill, principal, Heather Kivett, and supported by senior associate Lauren Boone.
Mr. Miller’s most recent prior experience was serving as the company’s president of Broadband Solutions. His professional background also includes serving as president of Mears Broadband, a subsidiary of Mears Group and Quanta Services, for a period before joining TAK. While at Mears, he helped build it into an industry leader. Mr. Miller has almost 30 years of telecommunications experience as an executive and leader in the broadband industry.
Based in Sioux Falls, SD, TAK Broadband is a provider of fiber and broadband network services, last-mile connectivity, and on-premises technology deployment solutions for the broadband industry. TAK’s ecosystem of partners allows it to successfully complete every project starting from the first point of conception. This includes engineering teams, distributors, and more than 100 qualified construction crews with extensive experience across all ISP types and markets; over 300 experienced bury drop crews; and more than 700 professional technicians.
