Accero Selects New CEO

February 3, 2011 – Accero, an HR and payroll solutions provider with clients in the U.S., Canada, Australia and the U.K., has announced a new phase its growth to be led by Sean Fallon, a newly appointed chief executive officer, who will succeed Tom Malone, Accero’s founding CEO. Accero was formed in 2008 following the acquisition by Vista Equity Partners (Vista) of the Cyborg Systems division from Hewitt & Associates. Mr. Malone stated: ”I am pleased with the work we have done over the last three years. My goal has always been to transition Accero from a division within Hewitt to a stand-alone leader in providing payroll and human resource solutions. As we enter this next phase, I’m excited to transition the leadership responsibilities to Sean. I am confident he will be successful in building upon the foundation that has been created.” Mr. Fallon spent the last decade of his career in senior leadership positions with enterprise software providers. He has held executive positions with Price Waterhouse, Trilogy Software, and most recently completed an executive-in-residence role with Austin Ventures.
