N.C. A&T seeks a dynamic individual with a strong combination of leadership and technology skills as the next Associate Vice Chancellor for Information Technology and Deputy Chief Information Officer (Deputy CIO). The Deputy CIO will play a critical role in the expansion of the university’s technology infrastructure and support of the transition to R1 status. The position leads critical areas of information technology, including infrastructure operations, major technology initiatives, technology evaluation, business continuity and disaster recovery efforts, support for research and high-performance systems, and integration of information security throughout the university’s infrastructure. This is a senior position on the staff of the Vice Chancellor for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer (CIO) and works closely with other IT leaders to develop the division of Information Technology and efficiently meet the needs of the faculty, staff, and students.
