Jordan Search Consultants Finds CEO for Medical Group

July 20, 2017 – Healthcare is among the most rapidly growing employment fields, according to analysts at Hunt Scanlon Media, which tracks trends in the executive search and leadership solutions space. So it is that the need for recruiting firms to deliver top-drawer leaders throughout the sector has only grown.

Recently, O’Fallon, MO-based executive recruiting firm Jordan Search Consultants recruited Ray Williams as chief executive officer of Springfield Clinic in IL. The organization was seeking a CEO with strong leadership skills who recognized the group’s commitment to remaining competitive and independent.

“We were honored to have the opportunity to fill such an important position for the prestigious clinic,” said Kathy Jordan, president of Jordan Search Consultants. “I am proud of my team for recruiting Mr. Williams in an extremely condensed time frame in order to meet the clinic’s aggressive hiring goals.”

Healthcare Leader

Mr. Williams has more than 30 years of experience. He most recently served as the senior vice president of physician mergers & integration at International Council for Quality Care Inc.

“The Springfield Clinic team was extremely impressed by not only the quality of candidates Jordan Search Consultants provided, but also their entire search process,” said Katie Rutledge, vice president and chief human resources officer of Springfield Clinic. “They customized the process for our organization and readily incorporated our feedback to create a positive experience for us and for the candidates. The entire team was professional, responsive and flexible. They were frequently on-site to advise us and facilitate the process for the best outcome.”

Founded in 1939 by five physician partners, Springfield Clinic was one of the first multi-specialty medical clinics to form in downstate Illinois. Through numerous local mergers and physician recruitment, the organization became and remains Illinois’ second largest private multi-specialty clinic. With more than 400 physicians and advanced practitioners, practicing in 80 medical specialties and sub-specialties, Springfield Clinic said its mission is to provide the highest quality health care to the people of central Illinois.
