The Select Group Opens Virginia and D.C. Metro Area Office

November 30, 2010 – The Select Group, a full-service technical recruiting firm specializing in the placement of technology (IT) and engineering positions, has opened a new office to support clients in the Virginia and D.C. Metro area. The office is led by Tim Cron, director of branch operations, who previously served as a branch sales manager at CEI. In addition, the firm hired Luke Mills as an account manager. Mr. Mills joins the D.C. team with several years of prior recruiting and account executive experience within the IT staffing industry. The company also added Phil Boland and Ben Guerrina as recruiters for the new D.C. location. Mr. Boland worked previously as a small business consultant with Paychex, Inc. Mr. Guerrina recently worked at GTSI as an account representative. Founded in 1999 with headquarters in Raleigh, N.C., The Select Group opened its first West Coast office in San Diego earlier this year. “It’s a huge achievement to be able to serve the IT staffing needs of our clients in Virginia and the D.C.
