Tom joined Helbling in 2010, and he has broad experience in developing search strategies, performing recruitment, and managing search engagements for various public and private companies and institutions. During this tenure, Tom has partnered with top general contractors, specialty contractors, real estate developers, engineering conglomerates, healthcare systems, museums, universities and colleges, and corporations to attract talent who can fulfill vital needs.
Through his experience partnering with publicly-traded, private-equity owned, and family-owned companies, as well as public and private universities, Tom understands how to customize Helbling’s approach to align with the specific needs, wants, vision, and culture of each distinct client organization.
Tom recruits and secures professionals for newly created and existing C-level and executive leadership positions, as well as for mid-level management, operations, business development, human resources, legal, finance, facilities management, and real estate development capacities. He takes pride in building partnerships with clients (and candidates) founded on trust, collaboration, and consistency.
Tom received his Master’s degree in Human Resources & Employment Relations from Penn State University and is also a graduate of Virginia Tech where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, Language, and Literature. His interests include travel, sports, home improvement projects, and spending time with his wife, sons, and black lab.
