Thomas Hofer

Thomas is Co-Managing Partner of Amrop in Singapore and a member of Amrop’s Global Board. He has decades of extensive professional experience in Retained Executive Search and Leadership Consulting at a board and senior management level.

Thomas is highly accomplished in all aspects of Executive Search, Board Consulting, Succession Planning, and Strategic Executive Talent Advisory and brings a high-level insider perspective to his work. Thomas has a reputation to partner with clients with integrity, agility, discretion, and dedication. He maintains lifelong relationships with senior management executives and industry insiders globally.

He has extensive leadership and management experience as a former Commanding

Officer of a regiment, with four battalions and 2500 military personnel.

Thomas maintains a lifelong interest in sports and earlier voluntarily served as Team Manager of the Swiss National Elite Rowing Team, participating in World Cup and World Championships during two Olympic Cycles, 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing. He advised on the search for critical leadership appointments and continues to collaborate with the international sports sector on talent requirements.

Thomas served as Master of a Zurich Guild for six years and as a member of The Gold & Silver Wyre Drawer Livery of London. He is a Freeman of the City of London.
