Sylvia MacArthur

Sylvia has over twenty years of corporate business experience and has held senior management positions in marketing and communications on both the client and agency side of the business.

During her years, on the front line in corporate roles, Sylvia was credited with hiring and developing effective teams that contributed to the company’s bottom line.

She has an Honours BA in Communications and has been a Search Consultant for over twenty five years. As the co-founder and President of Madison MacArthur, and now Canadian managing partner of The ExeQfind Group, she specializes in searches covering the core functions of sales, marketing, finance, human resources, operations, legal, as well as general management areas.

By consistently delivering exceptional talent for search mandates, Sylvia has built very deep, long lasting client relationships that have resulted in a very broad practice.

A recognized leader in the executive search profession in Canada, Sylvia sat on the Board of Directors of IRC Global Executive Search Partners, and is also the past Chair of this organization. Sylvia was the only Canadian executive recruiter named by Businessweek Magazine as one of the world’s top 100 most influential head-hunters. With Madison MacArthur as well as now with The ExeQfind Group, she has also consistently been recognized on the Forbes List of the Top Executive Search Consultants.
