Richard Pitts

Richard is a Principal within Miramar’s Energy and Natural Resources practice specialising in senior leadership appointments within the commodities space. Richard joined Miramar following 16 years in recruitment, including managing a number of high performing sales teams. He has smoothly transitioned into executive search over the last few years working closely with clients in supporting their senior talent acquisition and succession planning needs. Richard leads the downstream energy practice at Miramar with a particular focus on the international oil and petrochemicals market. He is responsible for successful completion of talent search projects with a number of the world’s leading oil producers and trading houses, and has assisted them to successfully restructure leadership teams as well as augment their existing management capability. Richard joined Miramar in early 2015 to work alongside the analogous sectors that were already in place within the business. He has seen significant growth and development within the business during this time including an international expansion. Richard is excited to continue his own learning and development alongside such a talented, ambitious and hungry group of individuals.
