Patrick K. Haro is a native of Silicon Valley and began his career in retained executive search in 1984. After living abroad for 16 years (Hong Kong and Singapore), he returned to the United States with one purpose in mind: To Change the Economics of Retained Executive Search. He believes the challenge facing the retained executive search industry is to deliver more value to customers without compromising quality or candidate reliability, and the best way to do so is by significantly reducing the cost of retained executive search.

In 1994, Mr. Haro originated the industry-leading 3-Year Candidate Warranty™, and in 2016 introduced DecoupledSearch™, the first significant new product since the advent of retained executive search in the 1950’s. Decoupled Search provides customers with the means to make every seat on their Leadership Team count, for a fraction of the cost of traditional retained executive search.

He received a Bachelor of Science (Organizational Behavior) from the University of San Francisco, an MBA (Corporate Finance) from the University of Chicago, holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a Weiterbildung zum Executive Search Consultant (WESC) from the Executive Search Institute.
