Daniel E. Sassi is a native of New Jersey and learned Human Resources from the bottom up over a 5-decade career in the entertainment & broadcasting, high tech communications, airline, paper/wood products, and packaging industries. With more than three decades as Chief Human Resources Officer, he has experienced executive recruiting from the company side and endured the best and the worst that was available.

Combining his depth and breadth of business experience with the rigor & quality of Decoupled Search’s processes, Dan brings to his role as Executive Search Consultant the ability to serve the client most effectively – from the client’s viewpoint.

He received a Bachelor of Arts (Literature) from Lehigh University, an MBA (Finance) from Duke University, completed the University of Michigan Advanced Professional Development for Human Resources Executives and Harvard Business School Strategic Human Resources Management Programs, holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a Weiterbildung zum Executive Search Consultant (WESC) from the Executive Search Institute.
