Mike is a Partner in our Retail and Consumer Practice at JM Search. Mike brings more than 25 years of experience in driving business value and operational excellence to Consumer Products and Retail Organizations. He has delivered consulting services in innovation, operational efficiencies, loyalty, IT, supply chain, digital and product development. Mike is a published thought leader and subject matter expert in many of these areas. Mike leverages his decades of experience in management consulting to help clients strategically evaluate their executive leadership needs and ultimately build the best possible management teams.

Prior to JM Search, Mike was a Vice President, running the CPG, Food & Beverage and Retail Sectors at Myrtle Consulting; a leading operations consulting firm. Formerly, Mike was with Accenture as a Managing Director – Consumer, Fashion & Retail Segments (Accenture acquired Kurt Salmon in 2016 where he was a Partner in the Retail & Consumer Practice). Prior to Accenture, he was CSC’s Industry Global Partner for the Consumer/Retail Segment and helped set up the global segment representing $720M in services. He led CSC’s team in North America, representing 70-80 Business Development Executives and over 8,000 service providers. Mike has an extensive history in the retail and consumer space. He started his career at Procter & Gamble. His last position was Category Manager – Salted Snacks where he helped turnaround Pringles to profitability and $300M in revenues. He also launched and led a grocery home delivery service providing same day delivery and a 98% fill rate in the mid-90’s.

Mike lives on Sylvan Lake in Southeastern Michigan. He and his wife Maggie, love to be on the water, golf and play competitive tennis. He has six children and two step kids which keeps him very active with coaching and attending many sporting events. Mike has a BGS from the University of Michigan where he was also a four-year starter and Captain of the Varsity Hockey Team.
