Irene Chia has 20 years of experience as an Organizational Development (OD) specialist and executive coach. Her focus is on leadership growth and team development; change management; and organizational learning. She is based in Singapore and works across Asia.
As a learning organization practitioner, Irene spurs leaders to learn differently so as to awaken the potential within them, helping them achieve meaningful results through human capital. She believes that a learning organization is a thriving organization. Irene’s interventions are aimed at addressing attitudes, beliefs, values and systemic structure to bring out the best in individuals and organizations and helping them thrive in evolving landscapes. Irene designs and facilitates programs on coaching and mentoring for managers from the public and private sectors.
Irene volunteers as a Mentor with the University of Southern Queensland, Strengths Coach with Kansas University, and an International Specialist Volunteer with the Singapore International Foundation where she where she assessed facilitation skills and facilitated management programmes for university and NGOs respectively. She was appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the Advisory Board of Myanmar Business Answers and Opportunities Now, a not-for-profit organization seeking to alleviate poverty through business start-ups. Irene also volunteers in schools in values teaching and internship preparation for students.
