Matthew Pierce

Matt is a founding Partner of BridgeStreet Partners with more than 20 years of retained search experience focused on C-level assignments. Matt leads engagements in many industries including healthcare, technology, manufacturing, professional services and other industries. He has a particular expertise in search for CFOs.

Matt’s experience includes working with SEC registrants, private equity sponsored, venture-backed, closely held and not-for-profit business in many industries. Matt advises CEOs, owners and Boards in searches in a wide variety of business situations including: rapid growth, turnarounds, IPO preparation, start-ups and succession.

Matt also works closely with senior leaders of the major accounting and consulting firms executing searches for key Partner and Managing Director positions. Matt has also acted as a member of the Board of Directors by clients for his business judgment and knowledge in the talent acquisition function in high growth companies.

Prior to founding BridgeStreet Partners, Matt was the Financial Officer Practice Leader at A.T. Kearney Executive Search (the 7th largest global search firm) and the Co-leader of the High-Tech practice. Matt has held senior-level financial positions with public companies and was in the Assurance Practice at Ernst & Young LLP where he held CPA and CMA designations.

Matt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.
