Managing Director

Mark specializes in Alternative Investments including Private Equity, Real Estate, infrastructure, Private Credit and Secondaries. He recruits investment and non-investment professionals and has considerable experience in fundraising/investor relations.

With a 20-year career in executive search, Mark has extensive experience in tailoring strategies to access, vet and close on candidates that meet the unique needs of each client. He’s earned a reputation as an honest broker, sound strategic advisor and highly effective advocate for his clients. He’s recruited transformational talent; helped firms scale through team builds of up to 20+ recruits; completed in-depth market intelligence reports to evaluate and benchmark organization structures; and identified opportunities for platform extensions that have resulted in the acquisitions of firms and teams. His clients range from large global companies to early-stage firms.

Before joining BridgeStreet Partners in 2019, Mark was a Partner at Westwood Partners which he joined in 2008. Previously he was a Consultant at A.T. Kearney (formerly Ray & Berndtson).

Mark was trained as a banker at JP Morgan Chase where he was an officer in both corporate workouts and commercial real estate finance. Mark then joined The Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank (now Mizuho Financial) where he eventually became Head of Commercial Real Estate Finance.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology from Clark University. He also completed The Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.
