Jeff Dodson

Jeff Dodson has been a senior-level executive recruiter in the healthcare and life sciences industries for the past twelve years. Prior to joining Strawn Arnold & Associates, Jeff held significant roles with other major search firms, including leader of the US Pharmaceutical practice for Heidrick & Struggles and leader of the US Life Sciences practice for Egon Zehnder International. Jeff is based in Chicago and has completed a total of over 200 executive searches, board of directors searches and corporate governance consulting projects for an array of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and healthcare services clients. He also works in the non-profit arena for selected clients. From a functional perspective, Jeff has deep experience in senior general management, sales & marketing, financial officers, business development and operations/supply chain assignments. Prior to entering executive search in the year 2000, Jeff spent approximately twelve years in the consumer packaged goods and investment banking industries. He was Vice President, International Business Development and Managing Director, Middle East/Africa Region for Anheuser-Busch International and prior to that served energy and media clients as an investment banker. Jeff has an undergraduate Economics degree from Claremont McKenna College, as well as an MBA from the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management, and a Global Masters in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. Jeff served on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the Alumni Association of the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management from 2009-2012, and was named to the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) 2011 “Directorship 100”, a list of the 100 most influential corporate governance professionals in the United States.
