Taurean is a Performance Architecture and executive search partner to private equity firms, specializing in the design and build of portfolio facing, value creation capabilities that drive positive, lasting impact in portfolio companies and the firm itself.

We work exclusively within the GP, helping firms design their value creation functions and hire the right individuals into clearly defined roles. These roles – Operating Partner, Portfolio Talent Leader, Functional Specialists, Office-of-CFO, and others – can be extremely high-impact, but only if they’re scoped correctly, enabled by the right structure, and aligned to firm objectives.

We help firms bring clarity to inherently complex challenges: there’s no one-size-fits-all answer for how these teams should be designed. Every firm’s context is different. We bring a structured process and real-world operating experience to guide those choices, so that you can define the right model, scope roles correctly, and set individuals and teams up for success over the long-term.

Ultimately, our goal is to help private equity firms become better-run, more valuable businesses themselves. We start with value creation because it’s where the opportunity – and the ambiguity – are greatest.
