McDermott & Bull Completes Search for SolarFlare Communications

October 12, 2010 – Irvine, CA-based McDermott & Bull has placed David Parry as vice president of engineering for Solarflare Communications. “Solarflare was looking for someone to lead the development engineering effort for the entire company. Due to the competitive nature of this market, the ideal candidate needed to have a strong technical understanding and vision, as well as possess a demonstrated history of leading engineering teams in the development of new communications systems and semiconductor products,” said Bruce Kimble, principal consultant with McDermott & Bull. Mr. Parry served in a variety of executive roles at Silicon Graphics Inc. (SGI), a leading engineering and business management efforts for server and storage products. Solarflare Communications is a provider of 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) silicon and server adapters. McDermott & Bull serves both public and privately held clients in the technology, financial services, manufacturing, bio-tech and life science, retail, professional services sectors.
