Jensen Partners Names Head of Private Credit and Private Equity Practice  

April 26, 2021 – New York City-based Jensen Partners, a women-owned executive search and corporate advisory firm for the alternative investment management industry, has named Nicholas Koehler as head of private credit and private equity.

In this new role, Mr. Koehler will lead the firm’s efforts to recruit diverse candidates for credit and private equity strategies. Based in New York City, he will leverage Jensen Partners’ proprietary diversity talent tracker to solve for investment roles and build out competitor intelligence across the U.S. and Europe.

He specializes in private credit, including working with managers that manage niche strategies such as CLOs, MBS, and ABS. Previously, Mr. Koehler was an associate with Options Group.

Jensen Partners recently made two senior appointments, naming Peter Sipsas as managing director and global head of private equity and credit, and Meredith Flynn as head of market intelligence. Mr. Sipsas and Ms. Flynn, who will both be based in New York, will expand the firm’s alternative investments recruiting platform to 17 and launch a new dedicated practice for investment professionals. Mr. Sipsas brings to Jensen Partners more than 13 years of executive search experience in financial services; Ms. Flynn brings nearly 20 years of executive search and institutional investing experience. Both were formerly with Korn Ferry.
