Hunt Club Appoints Chief Operating Officer

January 27, 2021 – Chicago-headquartered referral recruiting service Hunt Club has expanded with the addition of Stephanie Tysdal as its chief operating officer. “Stephanie is incredibly customer focused. We spent our first conversation talking about all the ways that the recruiting industry (to date) has neglected using technology to change the customer and candidate experience,” said aid Nick Cromydas, co-founder and CEO. “She immediately understood the advantage our business can have by further unlocking our expert network marketplace to access the best candidates via trusted introductions. She’s spent time in archaic industries in benefits and logistics, redefining how to use technology, engineering, data science to deliver an unparalleled experience, and we’re really excited to have her deliver that for Hunt Club and the recruiting space.”

Previously, Ms. Tysdal was chief operating officer at FourKites, a predictive supply chain platform. Before that, she was head of client support for Zenefits, where she scaled the client support team from one to over 200 employees across two states. Earlier in her career, Ms. Tysdal served in various roles at McMaster-Carr. In her new position with Hunt Club, Ms. Tysdal will be a close partner helping drive the entire business. She will be directly responsible for our product, recruiting, engineering, data and our expert network team. “Stephanie has seen scale from three to four people to 500-plus two different times now, and is well equipped to help us build to that level of growth the next few years,” said Mr. Cromydas.

“I’m thrilled to start a new adventure today as the COO at Hunt Club,” said Ms. Tysdal. “After scaling multiple high growth companies that hired hundreds of people a year, I realized that finding and integrating great talent is the number one challenge for any company that reaches product market fit. The solutions in the market today don’t make sense for the companies of tomorrow, and I’m beyond excited to help further bring Hunt Club’s vision to life.”

An Influencer Network

Hunt Club is a referral recruiting service that leverages technology and a front-end automation process to help land passive candidates. The firm leverages a network of connected influencers, which include executives, entrepreneurs, subject matter experts and connectors, to refer for roles.
