Human Capital Institute Names New Board for Workforce Planning

May 26, 2010 – The Human Capital Institute (HCI) has announced the formation of its executive board for strategic workforce planning comprised of senior executives and workforce planning leaders from diverse industries and organizations. HCI’s executive board is an independent group that regularly advises members of HCI’s executive workgroup for strategic workforce planning on best practices and next generation strategies for the alignment of talent with future business goals. This group focuses on core issues related to evolving from short-term operational workforce planning such as headcount forecasting, and quarterly staffing plans to long-term strategic workforce planning including business planning, needs assessment and scenario. HCI’s executive board members are: Roshny Mampilli, global talent operations director at Motorola; David Sutherland, director of workforce planning at CH2M Hill; Prasad Setty, vice president of people analytics at Google; Robert D. Motion, senior manager of workforce planning at Raytheon Company; and Julie Person, program manager for McKesson. Through research and collaboration, HCI’s global network of more than 175,000 members develops and promotes creativity, best and next practices, and actionable solutions in strategic talent management.
