Hobbs & Towne Appoints New Partner

January 17, 2011 – Hobbs & Towne, Inc. (HTI), an executive search firm specializing in the alternative energy and clean technology sector, has added Bart Tichelman as a partner in its Atlanta office. Mr. Tichelman brings to HTI more than 30 years of experience in technology companies, that last 15 being in cleantech. As CEO, he led two cleantech companies to successful exits; Statpower Technologies was sold to Xantrex Technology in 1999, and Serveron Corporation was sold to BPL Global in 2007. He was also CEO and on the board of ARISE Technologies. "Bart's experience and broad network in clean technology make him an ideal addition to our team,” said Andy Towne, CEO of HTI. “Having sat in the same chair and having looked through the same lens as many of our customers, Bart's unique experience will increase our ability to service customer needs while contributing to our firm's growth."
