Heidrick & Struggles to Lead CEO Search for Microsoft

August 26, 2013 – Executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles International has been retained by Microsoft to lead its search for a new chief executive. Current CEO Steve Ballmer has decided to retire as CEO within the next 12 months, upon the completion of a process to choose his successor.
