DHR Adds Managing Director in Tokyo

October 1, 2010 – DHR International has appointed Tomoyuki Watanabe as managing director of the firm’s Tokyo office. Mr. Watanabe has extensive management experience as well as more than 12 years in executive search focused on high-level engagements at two international executive search firms. Mr. Watanabe has conducted senior level searches primarily in industrial, professional services, consumer products & services, turnaround situations, as well as functional leadership engagements including searches for CEO, CFO, CIO, supply chain and human resource leadership roles. He previously served as partner and managing director at Odgers Berndtson. Prior to that, Mr. Watanabe was the HR director and a member of the board of directors at SC Johnson Japan leading its revitalization and restructuring projects.
