Cordiner King Completes Search for Department of State Growth Tasmania

November 11, 2014 – Executive search firm Cordiner King has placed Kim Evans as the new secretary of Department of State Growth Tasmania. Mr. Evans has a record of almost 20 years in senior executive service within the Tasmanian Government. Previously secretary to the DPIPWE, he has overseen the successful merger of the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources, and the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and the Arts into State Growth. The Department of State Growth (DEDTA) is the Tasmanian Government department which is responsible for driving state growth and to implement the Tasmanian Government’s long term plan for creating jobs, growth and opportunities for all Tasmanians.
