CIO Partners Seeking Chief Information Officer for Walker-Miller Energy Services

May 15, 2025 – The chief information officer is considered one of the most strategic roles in any organization. Still, recruiting within the function remains challenging, as skilled C-suite IT professionals are among the toughest to find, and move. CIO Partners is currently at the closing stages of recruiting a new CIO for Walker-Miller Energy Services.

Walker-Miller is seeking a visionary CIO to lead its technological revolution. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with at least five years in an executive role (CIO, VP of IT, etc.). Demonstrated expertise in IT infrastructure management, enterprise architecture, and digital transformation initiatives is needed.

CIO Partners recently assisted in the recruitment of Kellie Campbell as chief information officer of the University of Vermont (UVM). “This is an exciting time to bring an energetic and collaborative new leader to UVM, especially with new technologies rapidly emerging and important IT projects underway on campus,” said interim president Patricia Prelock. “Kellie will be an excellent partner for all of us and a strong leader for the enterprise technology services team.”

A broadly experienced academic IT professional, creative problem-solver and engaged listener, Ms. Campbell will assume leadership of the university’s enterprise technology services (ETS) division. She comes to UVM from the Vermont State Colleges System (VSCS), for which she served as chief information officer and vice president of information technology. Reporting to the chancellor and working in close partnership with the VSCS council of presidents, Ms. Campbell provided leadership, management, and strategy for the information technology shared services division.
