BlueSteps Offers Career Management Services for Executives

July 13, 2009 – BlueSteps, the career management service for senior executives provided by the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC), has released a new preferred program available to outplacement firms and employers. The program is a turn-key career management service for outplaced executives, which includes a resume review, job search advice and a profile within the BlueSteps executive locator directory, a tool used by AESC member search firms to locate candidates and sources for senior level positions. “In the current economic climate, employers and outplacement firms want to offer their executives the best possible career management and job search tools to support their career transition,” said Glenda K. Brown, director of strategic development and partnerships for the AESC. “BlueSteps is the perfect offering because it is the only service that offers executives exposure to the world’s top search consultants. We are pleased to be able to partner with a number of organizations and extend a preferred BlueSteps membership to their constituents.” Through the preferred outplacement program, employers and outplacement firms can purchase discounted bulk memberships to BlueSteps for their outplaced executives. Executives will then benefit from a life-long membership, executive seminars, job market information, career tools and resources to assist in the management of their career transition and an executive profile in the BlueSteps database, searched daily by AESC member search consultants. The Association of Executive Search Consultants is the worldwide professional association for the retained executive search industry.
