Ventura Appoints Bob Damon As Partner
August 19, 2016 – Executive search firm Ventura Partners has named Bob Damon as a partner in its Beverly Hills office.
With more than 30 years of executive search experience, Mr. Damon has been a senior strategist recruiting for boards and C-suite executives on organization and talent management issues. He has consulted and found top-tier talent for every industry including many of the Fortune 100. His key industry focus has been consumer/lifestyle brands, health/wellness/nutrition, food services, specialty retail and outdoor/performance action sports.
Representative clients of Mr. Damon include 7 for All Mankind, BJ’s Restaurants, Burger King, Drybar, Fender, House of Blues, Levi Strauss, National Football League, National Hockey League, Oakley, Office Depot, Schiff Nutrition, TRX Training, Under Armour, and the Women’s Tennis Association.
Mr. Damon has focused the past 15-plus years of his career on talent acquisition projects at fast-growth, mid-sized private equity- and venture-backed companies – many which have become leading industry brands.
Some of his private equity clients have included Ares Management, Apax Partners, Apollo Global Management, Blackstone Group, Bear Stearns, CCMP Capital, Castanea Partners, Fenway Partners, Irving Place Capital, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, TA Associates, TPG Capital, and Vestar Capital.
Mr. Damon previously spent 25 years in C-level operating roles at global search firms Spencer Stuart and Korn Ferry. At Korn Ferry he served as president of the Americas region for the firm.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Damon spent 10 years in various capacities with Booz Allen Hamilton and Arcata Corporation.
