Ridgeway Partners Names Insurance Sector Specialist
November 5, 2015 – Executive search firm Ridgeway Partners LLC has named Toby Crosthwaite as a partner focusing on the insurance sector in the U.K. and Asia.
At Ridgeway Partners, Mr. Crosthwaite will work on senior executive and board level work in the life insurance, general insurance and reinsurance sectors, with a particular focus on global and multinational companies. He will also cover risk management more broadly across financial services.
Mr. Crosthwaite was most recently a managing director at Russell Reynolds Associates based in Singapore and London where he worked on a range of high profile C-suite and board assignments across both markets. Before that, he was managing director and head of Asia Pacific at Sheffield Haworth and a consultant in Asia with Whitehead Mann. He also spent five years with Baines Gwinner Limited.

Mr. Crosthwaite’s arrival follows a busy year for Ridgeway. In September, the firm appointed Sue O’Brien as a partner. Ms. O’Brien most recently served as chief executive officer of Norman Broadbent PLC. She is currently working on further developing the firm’s retail, HRD and board practices.
In June, Ridgeway added Kevin McKeon to its Boston office. He joined the firm from CTPartners, where he was a senior member of the firm’s asset management, wealth and alternative investments practices. He has worked with clients to recruit senior leadership professionals for chief investment officer, heads of asset classes, portfolio management, and research positions.
