Major, Lindsey & Africa Expands LA Office

March 2, 2011 – Search firm Major, Lindsey & Africa has added managing directors Ryan Kerian in San Francisco and Glenn Tannous in Los Angeles. Mr. Kerian, a former associate at Kirkland & Ellis, will focus on recruiting top quality associates for law firms. Mr. Tannous will represent law firm partners and practice groups interested in exploring new firms and conduct searches on behalf of select law firms for lateral partners and practice groups. “We are delighted to have Ryan and Glenn join our team,” said John Cashman, vice president – law firm practice group. “They strengthen our law firm recruiting practice and allow us to serve the growing needs of the California legal market.” Prior to joining MLA, Mr. Kerian worked as a litigation associate at Latham & Watkins in Chicago and then as an employee benefits associate in the firm’s Silicon Valley office. Mr. Tannous has spent more than a decade assisting key corporate clients with their legal staffing needs. He began his recruiting career as an executive recruiter with DNA Search, where he established the company’s life science and legal divisions.
