Heidrick & Struggles Grows Leadership Practice

January 24, 2011 – Chicago-headquartered executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles International has added Carolyn Vavrek and Michelle Forrest to its leadership consulting practice. Ms. Vavrek joins as partner in the firm's San Francisco office. She comes to Heidrick & Struggles from Deloitte Consulting where she served as the human capital West Coast M&A practice leader and HR service delivery leader. Ms. Forrest joins as principal, based out of New York City. Most recently, she was with McKinsey & Company where she served as associate principal working with Fortune 500 senior leaders and chief HR officers to develop talent planning and evaluation strategies. Both will report to Rick Greene, the firm’s Americas regional managing partner, leadership consulting. Heidrick & Struggles is a provider of senior-level executive search and leadership advisory services, including succession planning, executive assessment, talent retention management, executive development, transition consulting for newly appointed executives, and M&A human capital integration consulting.
