Boyden Adds to Chicago Office

August 13, 2009 – Boyden has added William Ward as a managing director in the firm's global industrial and consumer practices. Mr. Ward will be based in Chicago and will work closely with Trina Gordon, chairman of Boyden World Corporation and managing director, Boyden Chicago. Mr. Ward's clients have included Advance Auto Parts, CH Robinson Worldwide, Cooper Tire and Rubber, Dover Corporation, Hershey, Lubrizol and Pro-Build. He has managed recruiting assignments for CEOs, COOs, general managers and functional heads of manufacturing, supply chain, packaging, finance and sales & marketing. Mr. Ward brings Boyden more than two decades of professional services experience, including his most recent tenure with another leading international search firm. Prior to his career in executive search, Mr. Ward served in a variety of sales management roles with Oracle Corporation where he was responsible for strategic accounts in the automotive and industrial sectors. Before joining Oracle, he was a partner with Andersen Consulting (currently Accenture) where he advised large multinational organizations on manufacturing and supply chain issues.
