Smith has grown its physician executive services with the additions of Marilyn Palmer, D.O., as vice president, and Archelle Georgiou, M.D., as a senior advisor. As vice president of physician services, Dr. Palmer builds collaborative relationships with healthcare organizations nationwide, serving as a trusted advisor and supporting providers with physician leadership solutions focused on improving efficiencies, outcomes and patient care. Previously, she served as EVP and medical director for United Healthcare Group and Executive Health Resources. A physician and former healthcare industry executive, Dr. Georgiou brings extensive experience assisting healthcare organizations in the areas of care coordination, patient care and engagement.
