Wilton & Bain Promotes Zarina Contractor to Managing Partner

Wilton & Bain, a leading global executive search firm, announced the promotion of Zarina Contractor to managing partner. Zarina will lead the European consulting & technology services practice and will be based in London.

Zarina has been with Wilton & Bain since 2010 and has worked her way up through the firm’s global consulting & technology services practice. She has built a wealth of experience in talent and leadership advisory across the management, strategy and technology consulting world; the technology services, systems integration and enterprise cloud software market; the Big 4 environment of risk, finance and advisory, as well as the HR, people & change sector. In addition to her executive search work, Zarina also focuses on diversity & inclusion initiatives for clients across the professional & technology services market.

Zarina adds, “I’m absolutely thrilled to be chosen for promotion to Managing Partner of the European Consulting & Technology Services business. Since joining the firm 13 years ago, I’ve always aspired to take on responsibility for managing this practice, which has always been a core foundation of the group. I have been lucky enough to be mentored by a group of truly inspiring leaders who have helped me to get here- in particular our Group CEO, David Heron, and Gary Landes, our Global Head of Professional Services. I can’t thank them enough for all they’ve done for me and am also grateful for all the affection and support from the wider team, as well as the vote of confidence in me by our board.  

Wilton & Bain has evolved so much since my start here; we’ve opened new practices, offerings, geographies and offices, and brought on board an ever-increasing number of clients who stay with us for the long term. It’s been both a pleasure and a real learning to watch our leadership steer us through the vagaries of fate and economic turmoil, the growing pains of expansion- which we’ve managed to do whilst retaining our special sauce, which is our people and culture. I’m honoured to have played a part in that, and to be stepping up to take on this new opportunity to help us on the next stage of our journey.
