The Tolan Group Announces Placement of Eric Pellkofer as Chief Operating Officer at Golden State Dermatology

The Tolan Group (TTG), a Hunt Scanlon Top 50 Healthcare Executive Search Firm, is pleased to announce the successful placement of Eric Pellkofer as Chief Operating Officer at Golden State Dermatology, bringing more than 25 years of healthcare operations experience spanning multi-site leadership, P&L management, M&A integration, and organizational growth.
Golden State Dermatology is a leading, comprehensive dermatology group with more than 40 locations and 125+ providers. The organization provides medical and cosmetic dermatology, Mohs surgery, dermatopathology, and plastic surgery. Its physician-led model is focused on combining leading clinicians and resources to increase access to high-quality dermatology care and deliver an exceptional patient experience.
In his new role, Pellkofer will oversee operational strategy and execution as Golden State Dermatology continues to grow its network of practices. His extensive experience managing complex, multi-site healthcare organizations, integrating acquisitions, developing scalable operating systems, and building high-performing teams positions him to strengthen operational consistency while supporting the organization’s continued expansion.
Prior to joining Golden State Dermatology, Pellkofer served as National Senior Vice President, Orthodontic Operations at Sonrava Health, where he led a large, multi-state clinical operation and partnered with executive leadership on strategy, budgeting, performance management, M&A integration, and enterprise initiatives. Previously, Pellkofer served as Vice President of Client Services at OrthoSynetics and Chief Operating Officer of West Coast Dental after holding progressively senior operational leadership positions with SmileCare Family Dental and Pacific Coast Dental.
Pellkofer’s appointment reflects Golden State Dermatology’s continued investment in scalable operations and leadership as the organization expands access to comprehensive dermatology services across its growing network.
Pellkofer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance & Management from Loyola Marymount University.
