Susan M. Snyder is a trusted advisor and experienced business leader focused on helping executives and their teams more capably and confidently navigate the complexities of their roles and the challenges they face. As Managing Partner for WittKieffer’s Leadership Advisory practice, she collaborates with colleagues and clients to broaden the firm’s ability to Improve Quality of Life through Impactful Leadership.

Susan’s consulting expertise includes executive team alignment and development, culture definition and sustenance, talent management, and executive coaching and development. The majority of her consulting work is in life sciences, healthcare, professional services and large industrials. Representative client impact includes:

  • Increased operating margin and patient satisfaction in a health care system after working with the executive team and new CEO to define the work of the team and improve its ability to collectively deliver that work
  • Improved engagement scores, successful transition to a scientific-based culture, and one of the strongest drug pipelines in the industry after design and facilitation of innovative development for the top 400 executives in a global life sciences firm

Prior to joining WittKieffer, Susan held a variety of senior roles at a prominent global executive recruiting and consulting firm. Most recently, she was a senior client partner and global leader dedicated to executive team performance. Before that, she held key positions at the same firm overseeing North American organizational strategy, global talent and effectiveness, and North American consulting delivery. Earlier in her career, Susan held roles of increasing responsibility within a well-respected global management consultancy, including re-shaping the U.S. business to increase client impact, employee engagement, and business results.

Susan is a certified Hudson Institute executive coach and accredited in a wide variety of assessment and development methodologies. In addition, she has completed the eCornell certificate program in Diversity and Inclusion, which focuses on improving employee engagement, counteracting unconscious bias and fostering inclusive work climates. In her personal time, she enjoys volunteering at her local food bank, mentoring, yoga, knitting, and spending time outdoors with her family.
