Sue’s particular approach to executive search is built on both her corporate and executive search experiences. As an independent search consultant, she learned to build and foster partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and retained executive search firms alike.
When she joined E.A. Hughes in 2008, she brought with her more than 20 years of diverse experiences. Her industry insider experience comes from her 6 years with The Gap, Inc. as part of their creative recruiting division and with Chase Manhattan Bank in IT recruiting and college recruiting roles.
While at The Gap, Sue was instrumental in recruiting some of the startup teams who launched new concepts that are highly successful and well-known brands in their own right, Old Navy and Gap Body. In her highly collaborative style, she worked closely with design, merchandising and production staff to recruit and develop these talented team members, while overseeing the research function. Sue also managed college-recruiting initiatives at both The Gap and Chase Manhattan.
Since joining E.A. Hughes, Sue has successfully executed searches from CEO and president to director level for retail, wholesale and e-commerce clients.
