Stephen Spagnuolo

Stephen Spagnuolo is an operator, leadership advisor, business builder and executive search professional who helps organizations make better leadership decisions during periods of growth, transformation, and market change.

He serves as Managing Director for Synova Talent Solutions, where he partners with founders, boards, investors, and executive teams to build leadership teams that drive enterprise value and mission success. His work spans executive search, leadership advisory, talent strategy, and organizational development across defense-tech, cybersecurity, financial sponsors, and national security-related markets.

Earlier in his career, Stephen built and led cybersecurity practices for globally recognized executive search firms. He also co-founded and led the Americas business for a leading UK-based global search firm, growing the firm’s U.S. platform into a recognized market leader serving many of the world’s largest financial institutions.

A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Stephen began his career as a Marine Corps infantry officer, where the principles of leadership, accountability, and disciplined execution became the foundation of his professional philosophy. Throughout his career, he has remained focused on a simple belief: great companies are built through great people, and unity of purpose wins the day.
