Jack Johnston

Jack Johnston is an accomplished executive recruiter with extensive experience in talent acquisition across a wide range of industries, including aerospace, healthcare, private equity, and manufacturing. His journey began early, growing up in a family that founded an executive search firm in 2005. At just 15, he completed a franchisee training program, and by 2016, he owned his own professional recruiting franchise. Currently, Jack is a Senior Talent Partner at Synova Talent Solutions, where he develops innovative recruitment strategies and sources top-tier talent to meet diverse client needs.

Previously, as founder of Hot Trail Leads, he pioneered a per-name payment model to ensure quality in candidate sourcing. His efforts have supported over 200 executive searches across 50 industries, achieving an outstanding placement success rate within the first 45 candidate submissions. Jack’s entrepreneurial leadership extends to founding University Partners, a firm designed to introduce university students to careers in recruiting, and The 130% Club, which provided mentorship and career development opportunities for young professionals.

A graduate of the University of Arizona, Jack’s education in communications and real estate complements his professional skill set. Beyond his professional roles, Jack has demonstrated a strong commitment to community service, supporting career education programs for incarcerated individuals.
