Sheharyar Khan

Sheharyar is a global energy and industrials leader with more than two decades of experience spanning operations, commercial strategy, M&A, engineering, and organizational transformation. He has partnered with publicly traded, privately held, and private equity–backed companies across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, supporting leadership teams through periods of growth, restructuring, and technology‑driven change.

Before joining The Energists, Sheharyar held senior roles with Baker Hughes, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Sensia (the Schlumberger–Rockwell Automation joint venture), and Schlumberger. His work included leading complex due diligence, go‑to‑market initiatives, operational excellence programs, and cross‑functional transformation efforts for global industrial and energy organizations. Earlier in his career, he gained hands‑on experience in engineering research, financial modeling, and quality management within regulated environments — a foundation that aligns closely with The Energists’ evidence‑based, ISO‑aligned approach to executive search.

Sheharyar’s search and advisory work focuses on C‑suite, operational, engineering, and commercial leadership roles across all forms of energy, engineered systems, and next‑generation technology markets. He is known for his analytical discipline, technical fluency, and ability to translate complex business objectives into practical leadership requirements.
Sheharyar holds a Master of Science in Finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, an MBA from the University of Warwick, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology.

Based in Houston, he supports clients across North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
