Sally Bryant


Sally’s decades of executive search and leadership consulting experience have impacted numerous organizations throughout the US and Canada. Her passion to make a positive impact has allowed her to serve hundreds of leaders in academia, healthcare and nonprofit organizations, as well as in the corporate arena.

She began her career on the advancement team in the College of Engineering and Architecture at Washington State University (WSU) and went on to leadership positions at Providence Health in Seattle and the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. She served as the Chief Advancement Officer at Marymount College in Palos Verdes, California, establishing new departments for the College, including Advancement Services and Marketing/Communications, and increasing the College’s annual fundraising totals 15-fold during her tenure.

Sally approaches her work with a wealth of entrepreneurial experience. In 2001, she started a fundraising consulting firm, DeChenne Company/Philanthropy Consulting, serving clients such as the University of Southern California; the University of Nevada, Las Vegas; the University of Washington; Seattle University; and others for six years before joining Bryant Group.

Sally has enjoyed serving for the past 30 years in volunteer leadership roles in higher education, healthcare and other nonprofit organizations, including as a council member on the Robert H. Williams Diabetes Research Council at the University of Washington; an Advisory Board member at Washington State University’s Honors College; chair of the President’s Associates Committee as a Trustee of the WSU Foundation; advisory board member, facilitation leader, and video promotional speaker at the Los Angeles Skirball Institute; council member at the Community Church of Joy in Rancho Mirage, California; and founding board member of Insulindependence in San Diego, California, where Type 1 diabetics accomplished feats such as Ironman Triathalons and 100-mile desert footraces. She is also an advisory board member at The Olympia Collective in Los Angeles, California and on the Industry Advisory Council for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. (CASE)

Sally earned her Bachelor of Arts in English/Business summa cum laude from the Honors College at Washington State University, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and top three in her class.
