Ryan Gilligan

Vice President

Ryan Gilligan is a Vice President at JM Search as part of the Information Technology Executives Practice.  He focuses on recruiting technology executives across a variety of industries for private equity, venture capital, and Fortune 2000 companies.

Before joining JM Search, Ryan spent more than 10 years recruiting within the IT function from entry level positions to c-suite.  He spent 3 years with Korn Ferry as part of the Technology Officers Practice where he focused on Chief Information Officers, Chief Digital Officers, Chief Data Officers, and their direct reports.  This included everything from business development, research, search execution, and offer negotiation.  Ryan served clients in both the private equity and Fortune 1000 space across multiple industries to include technology, industrial, consumer, financial services, and professional services.  His variety of experiences provides him a unique view and versatile execution abilities.

When not serving clients and candidates, Ryan enjoys spending time doing all things Minnesotan with his wife and two children.  In the summer this means spending time on the lakes and golfing.  He also embraces the cold winters by skiing, snowboarding, sledding, or watching hockey.  He graduated from the University of Denver with a BSBA in Business Management.
