Michelle Hall, Director, brings significant experience in several operating environments to bear for clients seeking leaders who can make a sustainable difference. Michelle’s searches include those for nonprofits and foundations focused on or investing in child welfare, legal advocacy, media, civic engagement, community enhancement and economic mobility. Her clients include a variety of operating nonprofits across the country, from start-ups to mature multinationals, as well as the family, community-based and corporate foundations that fund them.
Prior to joining BoardWalk, Michelle spent nearly three decades in higher education leadership. As Associate Dean, Dean and Vice President for three private universities, she built lasting institutional success and directed large staffs in support of diverse student bodies.
Michelle began her career as a Peace Corps volunteer in Senegal. She then supported membership development at The National Press Club in Washington, DC. She holds a BS in History from the University of the South (Sewanee) and an MS in Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Memphis. An active volunteer for local nonprofits, Michelle enjoys the outdoors with her husband, son, and the family dogs.
