Michael Castine delivers trusted advice to senior executives and board directors across Ridgeway Partners’ financial services clients. He leverages over 25 years of experience counseling traditional and alternative investment firms, family offices, banks, and insurance companies on their strategic and talent needs.
Michael joined Ridgeway Partners in 2013 from Korn Ferry International where he served as the Chairman of the Global Asset and Wealth Management sectors. Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Michael served as President of a registered investment advisor and had been a partner at the Highland Search Group, which was sold to TMP/Monster.com. Earlier in his career, Michael co-headed Global Financial Services at Spencer Stuart, where he also co-led and built the investment management practice.
Prior to executive recruiting, Michael served on the staff of the National Security Council and in the Office of Private Sector Initiatives in the White House, under President Ronald Reagan. Michael also worked for the US House of Representatives as an aide to Congressman Jack Kemp.
Michael is a trustee of The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute and the Greenwich Roundtable. He was an independent director of Prospect Acquisition Corp (AMEX: PAX). Michael has been quoted and published in numerous industry publications including The Wall Street Journal, Pensions & Investments, Institutional Investor and Bloomberg.
Michael earned a graduate degree from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree from Fredonia College.
