Eliza Baker

Eliza is a principal within our Private Equity and Consumer practices, focused on partnering with leading private equity-backed portfolio companies in assessing and building executive management teams and boards. She brings nearly a decade of international investor-backed C-suite and Board search experience, understanding her clients’ priorities and working with them to appoint transformational leaders capable of delivering a step change in performance and growth.

Eliza joined Acertitude from Korn Ferry, where she was the consumer lead for the Private Equity practice in EMEA. During this time, she led international Board and C-suite portfolio search mandates for mid- and large-cap PE funds, lender syndicates, and pension funds. Prior to this, Eliza was a principal at Skillcapital, a specialist private equity executive search and deal support firm, where she was responsible for the delivery of pan-European search mandates across the Consumer sector.

Her experience includes senior appointments in Consumer Health, CPG, Travel, Leisure & Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Apparel, and Multisite Services. In addition, she led several pre- and post-deal projects, with mandates including talent benchmarking, buy-in management, deal diligence, and identifying potential value creative opportunities such as M&A pipeline targets.

Eliza is certified in the Hogan psychometric tools HPI, HDS and MVPI. She holds a BSc (Hons.) 1st in Economics from the University of Sheffield.
