Mateja Forstnaric Joins DHR International as Partner
Vienna, September 17, 2018 – Global executive search firm DHR International is pleased to announce that Mateja Forstnaric has joined the firm as Partner working throughout the firm’s Vienna, Frankfurt and Amsterdam offices. Forstnaric brings more than 10 years of executive search experience to DHR International and focuses on senior-executive search and board assignments throughout Europe.
Forstnaric specializes in recruiting for positions into life sciences, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, medtech, diagnostics, consumer healthcare and e-health companies and start-ups, on both an international and a local basis and across the full functional range.

Prior to joining DHR International, Forstnaric worked at a variety of consulting firms, both in life science boutiques and large international executive search and talent management companies, including the RSA Group, Odgers Berndtson and Heidrick & Struggles. Throughout her search career, Forstnaric has worked internationally, regionally and locally, focusing particularly on Europe and emerging markets, where she conducted numerous executive search talent development and leadership advisory assignments. Establishing herself as a trusted advisor she successfully helped numerous clients with their talent needs and built and developed their leadership teams to succeed in the markets.
Before entering the executive search field, Forstnaric spent 11 years in the executive leadership and development industry, with one of her last positions heading the executive MBA marketing, sales and admissions at one of the leading executive development institutions in the CEE, the IEDC. Earlier, she held a marketing position with DHL International and researching for several academic institutions. Forstnaric is a frequent speaker at various business events, conferences and roundtables on the topics of leadership, talent management and diversity.
Forstnaric holds an MBA and an MSc from IEDC-Bled School of Management and BSc of Economics from the University of Ljubljana. She has completed numerous educational programs from several other educational institutions including Yale University and Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. Besides her native Slovenian language, Forstnaric speaks English, German, Croatian and Serbian.
